There was a time when the ships were docked, the ports were quiet, and adventures were put on pause. Like many, we waited. Not until the seas calmed, but until the restrictions lifted. We weren’t going anywhere until the COVID shot requirements were gone.
And once they were, we were more than ready. Hungry for life, laughter, and BUCKETLIST adventures, we stepped back onboard — and we haven’t looked back since.
🗻 The Comeback: Seattle to Alaska
Our first cruise back was pure wonder. From Seattle to Alaska, we discovered the beauty of the Last Frontier — glaciers, eagles, and mountain peaks that make you whisper a prayer of awe.
🏝️ Breezes out of Galveston
Next stop: the Caribbean. Sailing out of Galveston gave us warm winds, turquoise waters, and endless laughter. It was the trip where the salt stayed on our skin and the joy lingered in our hearts.
🌍 Crossing the Atlantic: Europe Awaits
Then came Europe. We flew from New York with stops in Halifax and St. John’s before crossing the Atlantic. Each port became a story:
Bilbao
La Verdon
Port Perrot
La Rochelle
La Javiera
Paris
Amsterdam
Hamburg
London
Southampton
Cobblestone streets, cathedral bells, and new friends in every café — it wasn’t just travel, it was writing a living story.
🇦🇺 Down Under: Australia & New Zealand
Then came the great southern journey: Auckland, Tauranga, Napier — each stop a postcard memory. From kangaroos to kiwi country, this cruise stretched our souls with wonder.
🇵🇹 Lisbon & a Lifesaver Named Donna
Portugal brought us a challenge — securing a stay before sailing — and that’s where Donna of Vado Travel became our lifesaver. With kindness and expertise, she treated us like her own family. That trip taught us the best part of travel isn’t just the places, but the people God places along the way.
🌴 Hawaii → Alaska → Canada (Next Up in 11 Days!)
Now, in just 11 days, we’ll be flying to Hawaii to begin another adventure — sailing from the islands through the Pacific all the way to Alaska, and finishing in Canada before heading home to Texas. It’s another BUCKETLIST dream about to be lived.
🚢 Looking Ahead: Panama Canal 2026
And we’re not stopping there. Our next big booking is already locked in: the Panama Canal, April 25–May 13, 2026. A wonder of the world, a link between oceans, and another unforgettable story waiting to be told.
✨ Why We Keep Going
Every port is a story. Every wave is a prayer. Every cruise is a reminder that life isn’t meant to be paused — it’s meant to be lived, sung, and shared.
So, if you’ve been waiting to step back into adventure, take it from us: don’t wait too long. The world is wide, your BUCKETLIST is calling, and the sea is ready to carry you there.
💌 Your Invitation
We’ll keep sharing our stories — from Alaska to the Caribbean, Europe to Australia, Lisbon to Hawaii, and soon Panama — and we’d love for you to join us.
